tranny GuRu needed portland metro area

anyone have a good reputable person that can do trayy work w/o ripping ya off? with stuff you dont need?> and knows everything about these trannies

Not sure what your looking for... but I believe Rip Rook (sourceautomotive.biz) builds a Dunrite tranny.

They do quite well and are not NEARLY expensive as some of the other aftermarket stuff.

I believe Dunrite is in the Portland area as well.

I would go to Rip.. I am not sure Dunrite does complete tranny work. IIRC He may only build converters and valvebodies..
