ok this is probably going to be a dumb question but without a "computer" on the truck whats the tps for on a 12valve
i know there is a computer or two on these trucks but i didnt think it was for things like this at least as comparied to the 24v what happens if this goes out do u really need it on the 12v cause we actually have cable throttle not wire throttle and last ? some nitrous kits require a tps connection i always thought they were for the 24v cause i didnt know we had one of these so will that kind of nitrous kit work on a 12v sorry for the dumb ?s but this 12v tps is new to me i really never thought about us having one

TPS controls transmission shifting. Even if motor is not electronically controlled, some functions need it. Many times erratic shifting is caused by bad TPS or more often just dirty (internally) TPS components.

Take the Engine Serial Number to Cummins and see what they say. You can probably call them.

I had to get mine from Dodge at the last minute. I still have it behind the seat of the truck, four years later.

I've read some have found them at NAPA. I tried at my local store and they couldn't locate.

Here is the P/Ns I have in my data file
Cummins 3930318
Mopar 4874412 or 3930318
Borg Warner EC3061

On the "RH" series of transmissions 1-2 & 2-3 shifts are by the transmission with no feedback from the PCM
TPS to PCM connection is part of the converter lock-up & O/D shifts.

I've bought a few from Napa.
Sorry don't have the part number but they pulled it up right away and even had it in stock for $149
