Exclamation ton of oil in rad and possible water in oil.

today i was putting new speakers into my doors because the other ones werent thumping enough for my own good so after i got that done, i thought ill check the fluids. the rad was low so i went to add more and i overfilled it, and this black snot oozed out around the funnel (oil). so i checked the oil and it was a quart low, and i saw this little bit of grey stuff on the bottom of the dipstick so im assuming that is water. today im going to drain some oil to see if theres water in it. anyways, the problem could be 1 of 2 things i was told, the oil cooler/gaskets or the headgasket. well my headgasket is a genuine cummins gasket that only has 3000 KM's on it so i highly doubt its that since its running like a top still. then someone else said these oil coolers like to rot out if the antifreeze isnt changed enough. what do you guys figure? please say oil cooler haha since i dont want to do the headgasket again since ive already put 2 in it since i bought the truck in november....

My bet is the head gasket, seeing as it was just recently done.

why would it just let go after 3000 KM's? i used new bolts, cleaned all the bolt holes, torqued them to cummins spec, then gave them each another few degreese, used a cummins gasket, had the head checked for flatness and cracks by a machine shop, and scotch brited and brake cleaned the entire block deck.

You turned the head bolts a few degrees after torquing to specs? That might be you problem there.

only a few. and other people have claimed torquing the bolts an extra half turn almost on stock bolts. and how could that have hurt? none of the bolts felt like they were stretching or twisting off when i did that either.
