throttle sticking

Please help, the idle linkage seems to be binding up. I disconected the linkage to the front of the pump and the arm where the idle screw is seems to be hitting something internaly. Any ideas what is going on??????? Thanks ,doug

I'm not quite sure what you mean but you might want to check to see if the cable itself is starting to unwind inside. It is a common problem. I even got the cable replaced on mine last year for free under a safety recall.

Does it bind witht the engine running? The linkage always feels stiff or stuck with engine off.

At 200k I'd say the pump needs rebuilding. You can send yours out for rebuilding or trade it for an exchange. Either way isn't cheap but will be way less than 1¢ per mile (doesn't hurt as much thinking of it this way)
