i have a 97 wit all the mods done that are in my sig and my throttle keeps sticking right off the pump where the cable conects, the recall on the cable has been taken care of so i dont know what to do. it did it about a year ago and a local diesel guy said my pump was just filthy so he cleaned it and it was fine for awhile until now and its doing it again. Most of the time if i just tap the pedal again its fine but sometimes i have to pop the hood and move it. My afc spring is out other than that everything is listed whats done. Any suggestions will be apreciated thanks mitch@jc

 

Is your return spring missing?

start by spraying all your linkages with a lubricant.

Your cable may be worn, I replaced mine with a big difference in the ammount of resistance to pull the cable.

 

i have sprayed all of the linkages numerous times and it does no good, but where is the return spring located?
