My rear end went out of mine about 5k miles ago. 
Overall you shouldnt have many problems out of it, and it doesent really seemt hat most rear end give people trouble, but mine did. Id just have to say that overall i love this truck though 
Cant wait for some small injectors, and a valve body 
. I think you will be happy with the switch. Either will be a good truck. You will be amazed with the torque the I-6 throws at you down low modified though.
