Finally came over to dark side
Hey,
Just bought a 2005 Ram 2500 quad cab 4x4 long bed w/ cummins. I previously owned a 2002 F250.
Any info that you folks deem important for my new purchase would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Troy Loftus

Congratulations on your new truck!
Be aware that some 05 trucks have a plastic intercooler. I have heard of several people on this board having them "pop". I think Dodge is replacing them with metal ones.....no sure.....but be aware of it.
You are going to love your truck! Welcome to DTR!
Ohh...and when you get a chance...........fill in your signature so we know what you are driving when you post....without you having to tell us each time.

I too just came over from the Dark Side on Wednesday. I cannot tell you how happy I am so far. My truck literally feels like a sports car compared to the 01 4x2 F350 and 04 4x4 F350's I have owned. Without a doubt the happiest I have been with first impressions of any vehicle I have owned!
