haven't had my 95 Dodge long and I don't know if it's been modified. I haven't been into it yet, but I devoleped a transmission line leak and had that repaired and filter changed, bands adjusted. From dead stop and hit it hard it has a momentary stall, almost like not enough fuel, but then goes very well. Any ideas.

sounds like normal turbo lag. If you nail it from a stop the exhaust pressure must build to make the turbo spool up. If you roll the throttle on it will not do it.

 

It could also be a bad overflow valve on the injection pump.
