There is a fuel supply and return line, a breather i believe, float and sending unit. I think that is all.

My girlfriends truck had a small crack in the metal supply line right at the module causing it to leak when running and lose prime when it is shut down.

I priced them and they run over $300 i believe from dodge. We got one from a junkyard for $100. Still expensive but they knew what they had and could name their price.

You can get a reman from the dealer for about $125. I did, and have the part number if needed.

Problem with ebay is how do you know you're getting one that's rebuilt?
You might just be buying a broken one that you'll waste your time installing just to find out it's shot.

yea, they seem to keep this a secret. I had to go in with the part # and demand it. keep in mind before you leave the dealer you have to switch a gromet or two out of your core before you give it to them.

Yep, ditto on the secrets at the dealerships. I had to call two dealerships before one would fess up and say, "sure, we can get you a reman". Got it last month for $140.00 plus tax. Here is the reman part# R4798671.
