swaping a p pump for a rottry pump
OK. So you blew your P pumped engine and a guy wants to buy that engine from you.
You have a replacement engine with a rotary pump on it (from a 1st gen) that you want to swap into your 2nd gen, correct?
That should be a pretty simple swap I would think. I have not done this swap, but their may be a few minor differences like intercooler piping differences, etc.
The rotary pumped 5.9 should bolt right in there. Basically all it takes to run one is a fuel line, and a 12 volt wire from the switch. I would definitely do the swap before selling the p pumped engine. That way you can harvest any necessary parts off of it if needed.
Find someone on here who has done this same swap. Try to explain it a little better so they will understand. It was hard for me to figure out what you wanted to do.
