Stop! (clutch probs)

This is what happens if you keep driving with a bad trow out bearing ( t o b ) long enough . This is on the truck that I put the 5" exhaust and stacks on in my gallery . When I pulled it last night I had to take a long punch and a large hammer and put it in the hole that the slave goes in and drive the t o b off of the bearing retainer. lucky for him I just ordred my South Bend MU-13-1.25 Con FE 13" conversion that is good for 550hp/1100tq So I will let him have my old setup. It has a new disk with only a few K on it. I think I have done more work on his truck than on mine.

definently pretty nasty looking. The driver didn't notice anything was wrong until it got to that point?

He did he just was low on cash and thought it would be ok for a few weeks when it stoped making noise. He only used the clutch to stop and take off. We are going threw the trans while we have it out for bearings and syncros. He just kept driving till it would not come out of gear or stop. Now insted of a $50 tob it is going to cost a lot of $$$$ to get every thing back like it needs to be. He could have had the South Bend like mine for less if he would have stopped. I hope the teeth on the gears are ok or it will cost more. I'm not charging labor or any thing. He's realy lucky that he is a good guy and is ingaged to my sister-in-law.

Sorry, Please move this if needed. I put this in the 12-valve section. I thought I clicked on the 24-valve sense the truck is a 24-valve but it uses the same clutch, pressure plate, and fly wheel as the 12-valve sinse it has a 5spd so it is still good for 12-valve guys to see.

I thought more of you guys would have a thing or two to say about this. At least about the 5" down pipe.
