starter wont crank

I have a 96 ram 2500 12V manual trans and the starter sometimes wont even click when I turn the key. I pump the clutch pedal a few times and it will go. Sometimes I have to hit the clutch several times before it will engage. I don't want to bypass the clutch switch for safety reasons but wondering if anyone knows where to get a replacement or how to fix the switch. Thanks for your help

The clutch switch is integral with the master cylinder. I would temporarily jump the switch to make sure thats the issue. Could be a starter issue as well.

I had some similar issues and it was actually the contacts in the solenoid burned out. A contact repair to the starter is cheap and works well.

I had that same problem, I had recently done a 5spd swap, so while the starter was out I put in the bigger starter contacts, and it was a brand new hydraulic slave. I drove it about a week on and off, then it sat a couple days went to start it and not even a click, but all my accessories were strong. So I kept trying the key, and finally it went. Then it would be an every other time I drove it, it would do it. So I tightened my starter contacts and haven't had trouble since. I didn't think it was that simple of a problem, but it seemed to work.
