I have a 1996 2500 with diesel
When trying to start truck in the morning it will start then turns off i check a lot and some how it is getting air in the fuel lines I have bleed the lines and truck will start and run good but after turn the motor off and let it set then try to start it does the same thing. Any help would be nice.

Easiest fix is to run new fuel lines ( both feed and return ) from the tank to the engine.

Perfectly normal given the age of the truck, most of us have already done it. Go to the 12 valve 94-98 forum and do a search on fuel lines.

If there is anything you aren't clear on, let us know, just be sure and use diesel rated hose.

I replaced my lines by lifting bed off frame, six bolts, pretty ez
