Check for fuel shutoff solenoid moving freely on the pump. If the solenoid does not fully travel, it will give these problems. Not expensive if the plunger moves at all. It's just an electromagnet. Take it off and clean it.

If it is completely broke, put in a push pull cable or even a couple rubber bands. It won't shut off with the key, but you can move the lever manually.

Hate to say it, but it almost sounds like your Torque Converter is not unlocking when coming to a stop.

What does it idle at warmed up in gear?

stalling

truck idles @ around 7 then when i put in gear at 500. I've been told maybe the governor solenoid is going out? and to drop trans pan, check for metal shavings if so, then it'll be the tc.

Before you go doing a bunch of stuff, get that Idle RPM up to 750-800 warmed up in gear.

10 MM wrench and small hands, then see what she does.

500 is WAY low......
