southbend DD shifting ?
im not to happy with the new southbend DD setup, it is the 3600# setup, i knew the shifting was going to be a bit slower, but DANG! i didnt expect it to be this slow, is there anything that can be done to help, maby better syncros, or anything?
i have had the same problem, its a bear to shift. rev sucks . and going down the 1/4 track.. lol yea it aint fun.. it like holds a second or 2 then goes in to gear.. on every gear.. been like that for over a year now. if ya find a way . let me know.
Put it in gear before the light goes green?
What model of DD is it? I've got a 3600 with the lever style pressure plate that is a bear to shift, I usually skip the clutch and just float the gears. My 12v has the 3250 diaphragm pressure plate, it shifts like stock. Also has a near stock pedal pressure.
Did you take the washer out underneath the pivot ball in the bellhousing?
