i went to get an inspection sticker yesterday, both reverse lights were out. i remember awhile back they stayed on so i removed one. bought some new bulbs and they work fine, put my 47re tranny in reverse and they come on, put in park and they go off, okay... drop the truck off and when i pick it up the next day the trucks in their parking lot with the reverse lights on. I try to find the reverse switch on my tranny, start pulling harnesses and they won't go out??? I pulled the two wire harness, the 3 wire harness, still won't go out! i then pull every mini fuse from the fuse panel... ***? still won't go out! what the flip is going on? i'm losing my mind!

 

Check that your trailer jack isn't full of wet dirt causing a power path.
