this is on a 96 12 valve. apparently the airconditioning system has a leak in it. once its charged it will last for a week or 2 and works fine but there is a leak some where in the system. just wondering if any one has had a similar problem, or give an estimate on how much it would cost to fix?

it could be any of several things... about as often as anything, the compressor seal goes out... it's near the compressor clutch. hoses could have leak, or connectors... look around for oil... with a leak that bad, you should be able to see oil.
