Mine is 30 psi at all times (can't be exact, my 30psi gauge is pegged all the time). Anything above that you should be alright. Actually, I ran it at 18 psi for quite some time and ran just as well.

As long as FP doesn't drop below 25 psi under load you're fine.
Likewise pressure exceeding 45 psi presents a whole new set of problems.
Excess pressure will blow out internal injection pump seals, fuel will leak into your oil.

Will the overflow valve be sufficient as a "regulator" in a system like that(70-100GPH) or will there need to be a regulator or adjustable pump bypass?

My FASS is internally regulated to 45 psi, and I just run a standard OFV.

What pressure does the P pump see in that application?

Double or triple check all the connections between the airdog & fuel tank.

Maximum 45 psi. With the engine loaded 45 psi or lower.

More than 30, less than 45. I'd love to be more specific, but my gauge is 0-30, back from my VP days.

Ok, just wondering if the OFV is able to regulate that much flow or I would need another regulator if the pump's bypass was higher than the recommended 45psi max.

I've read that on a P-pump 12 valve the injectors won't work right unless the injector return line is on the pressure side of the lift pump.

Aren't VE injectors on the return side of the fuel system?
