Problems Deciding On A Truck
Re:Problems Deciding On A Truck
I went 1000 miles to Dave Smith Motors in Idaho, got a great truck at a good price. Was worth the drive.. They are linked to this site, click on links at the top of page. Always have lots of new and used diesels in stock.

When I get motivated, there's no stopping me. I get obsessed way too d**n easy, lets just put it that way.
Well, I guess the search continues until I get fed up with searching, or until I get my new mirror for my S10 so I can get rid of the thing. It's going to be sad to see it go though. Me and old ZR2 have had a lot of good times, and a few bad ones here and there. Only let me down majorly once or twice though, and they were my fault. But lately it's just been bad. Like $2-$3k in the last 1-3 months. Darn Vortec's!

Re:Problems Deciding On A Truck
If You decide on a older truck 94' to 98.5' don't forget about the kdp. Look for oil leaks dripping on the ground after you test drive them. Pay att. to the front of the engine. If you see a lot of greasy oily mess it could be the KDP has came out and busted the housing. I was not aware of this problem till afer I bought mine, thought it was the crank seal leaking when I bought it. Mine is a 97' 3500 2wd 5 speed it had 189,000 on it when it purchased. What ever you do beware of the BOMB BUG it's a killer.
