pre filter part #

i am going to be changing out the pre filter next weak.i did a search but can"t find the filter parts # so the local parts store can cross reference.
it is for a 96 model 1 ton.thanks

If you need to replace it dont bother looking anywhere other than Cummins.


You probably dont need to replace it - take it apart and clean it up.
I bought a kit before looking at mine. The prefilter is still sitting in the package - didnt need it at all.

thanks for the help.i have had this truck about a year now,it has not ben apart since i had it so i dont know how long if ever if it has been cleaned.i keep learning from this sight every day.thanks
