Anyone with 12 valve that has first hand delt with injector pump going bad please describe what symtoms you felt in your truck as it started to go out. The 95 I had allready had a new one on it, Ijust wanted to know what to look for as they start to go.

 

well i have owned 8 12v trucks and i have worked on 25 or so more. and i have never come across one with a bad injection pump.

 

The ones I've experienced sound like a miss when they start going.
Most often the problem is a sticking delivery valve that sometimes can be corrected by adding a healthy dose of lube to the fuel.
