Overflow valve part # question.

I saw on ebay there are overflow valves for sale. One mentioned something that struck me odd. I was under the impression that the overflow valve with the ball in the end replaced the one with the screw in the head of the valve. According to one of the ebay adds, the one with the screw, Bosch part# 2 417 413 101 replaced the one with the ball, Bosch part # 1 417 413 047. So does anyone know which is actually the newer version of Bosch overflow valve?

I would say the one with the ball since the original on mine had a bolt on top. Really doesn't matter, they both work fine. I have one of each. There is also the possibility that they went to the ball, then back to the bolt.
