I came across a 94 or 95 3500 that has sat near a shed for over a year outside. the body is shot, the frame looks thin, but it has 131k on the clock. Is there any concerns engine/pump wise since its sat outside all this time, prob without being started.

Wouldn't bother me, I'd just fire it right off. I'd probably dump a bottle of Stanadyne in the fuel tank and add some fresh fuel though.

 

If it were me before I would turn it over i would take the air filter out and make sure no critters have made their home inside of the box. One could only imagine the damage from sucking in a mouse through the intake

 

Yeh I have an old 73 LTD I have sittin behind a shed and I was taken a look at it the other day. The thing has be come a playground for lil critters! Mice nests, bird nests, all kinds of insects, etc..

 

would be a pita, but it might be worth draining the fuel system and filling with fresh diesel. i'd be concerned about water and gunk in there
