Oil filter question

Oil filter question
Will a 12V oil filter fit a 24V? I ask because I was given a Baldwin BT7349 at the parts counter and when I looked it up it says it for a 1998-2010, and I have a 1996. Baldwins site says mine need's a BT339. Parts guy said he was sure it was the correct filter.

It will fit and work just fine. However the best filter, IMO, is a Fleetguard Stratapore LF3894.

the bt7349 is the best filter for your truck. the fleetguard lf1605 is the one to use. these two filters fit from 89 to 2011.
