NV4500 gear question (not fifth!)
I have my NV4500 apart (first manual I have taken apart) and am just poking around making sure everything looks OK before I put it back together. I noticed the 3rd and 4th main gears have a few small chips on some of the teeth. If your looking at the gear teeth with grooves going left-right, the small chips are on the left or right ends of the contact surface of the particular teeth.
They are pretty small chips, none I would classify as chunks, but I was wondering how bad this is... there is 160k+ on the gears.
