i bleww my trans up {47rh} 9 months ago. rebuilt it.... shift kit tc and valve body. tc was slippin about 2 weeks ago. it ran fine shifted great just a little slip here n there. so i ordered a stage 5. put it in last night. went for a test drive this morn..... no 1st gear. it takes off in 2nd shifts to 3rd and no O.D.............. changed the filter and gave it a flush...... nothing changed. any suggestions?

If you are talking about the 97 truck in your sig it is NOT an rh tranny it is an RE = big difference in the way they are controlled. E = electric H = hydraulic

With your listed problems the first thing i would check is for the correct governor pressures when stopped and while going up threw the gears.

yes sir...... im new to the trans deal i hate auto.. how would i go about checking that? and i was possibly thinking it may be a transducer? thanks

sounds like you are in limp mode, if you are talking about the 97 (47re). have you checked codes? the key trick might output trans codes, been awhile since i've done it without a scan tool. if not you'll need to get the code pulled.
