Yes, you would be able to tell if it was not giving you boost.

You may have a throttle cable or linkage problem that can be fixed free under recall.
Go here http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/...eenName=recall
You will need your VIN number

It very well could be the cable is stretched or the linkage worn/out of adjustment and not giving you full throttle.
Get the recall and any others that haven't been performed done.

What rpm is the engine at when you are at 75 mph?Does the truck seem to miss at higher rpms when in neutral?

If you have stock tires, you have a 3.55 rear. Not being able to do over 75 sounds about right for a 94, they would usually fall flat on their face around 2200 rpm. That sounds like your problem, as the tach isn't exactly super accurate. Having the gauges will help with trouble shooting a little, but a stock truck isn't gonna make tons of power, so you'll have to look elsewhere. Have all recalls done as stated, make sure all clamps/hoses are good, and that the intercooler isn't punctured.

After all that checks out, take your stock plate and grind to a 10, get some washers to mod the governor springs, ditch the stock air filter for a BHAF, toss the silencer ring. The plate and washer mods will really wake the truck up. Tossing the silencer ring just makes it sound cool, and the BHAF will help it breathe a little better, and seals much better.
