recently I have lost about half my boost. At 65 no load i would be 2-4. now i am 0. I can get it up to 12-15 at wot whereas before I could get it above 20 pushing 24. I have checked intercooler boots and pinched of boost line to wastegate. how do i pressure test the intercooler system? the turbo seems to be working. i can hear it whistling. Egt's seem to be higher as well. Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

Gotta be a big leak somewhere with that kind of pressure loss. There are threads here on pressure testing the system but I would still be thinking boot or possibly an intake manifold coming loose???

 

Could be a leaking wastegate as well.

 

Great i will check the wastegate again and try to find the info on the pressure testing procedure again.
