My 96 has no fuel primer button. Help!
I've replaced the fuel filter and need to bleed the filter. My lift pump has no primer button. It looks like a new replacement pump. How do I bleed the filter?

Can you post a photo of the lift pump? I haven't seen a lift pump for a 6BT that didn't have a primer on it.
You can also open the bleeder on the filter housing, and pressurize the fuel tank with an air hose. That will push the fuel through to the filter, fill it up, and come out the bleeder.

iv replaced my filter several times and never used the primer- I just fill the filter with fuel or diesel purge and screw it on fires up every time with very little stumble.
