I can beleive the milage no problem. The original tie rods I don't beleive. There was a story posted here a year or two ago about a farmer in Ohio that had an 89 CTD with 1.87 million miles. It was in the farm gazette or something like that. The guy bought a new truck and gave his 89 to his friend. He said that he liked the new seats but missed his old truck.

Was this the truck that the guy let run for days at a time because he was afraid of the fuel gelling or something like that?

a million miles on a CTD i believe, a million miles on the original tie rods no way! i've been workin on cars/trucks for a long time and with that kinda miles the wear & tear is got to be more than what's written.

my question is how in the world can anyone sit in the dam truck for that long? a MILLION miles, that's insane, even MikeJ with 938,000 do u ever get out of the truck?
