low boost, high egts?

Cant get boost over 10psi and my egt reaches 1100-1200 going down the hiway @ 70mph on cruise.
From dead stop,I floor the pedal. Egts hit 1100-1200 and boost under 10psi ***?

You need to start looking for boost leaks. The most common is for the boots to come loose and leak. Check all four closely, especialy the lower one on the passengers side. That one sometimes expands enough to contact the inner fender and wear a hole in it. If you don't find a leak then start the truck and spray the whole intake system with soapy water, including the inter cooler. You should see bubbles where the leak is.

If you can't find leaks the next step is to check if your timing has slipped.

Catalytic Converter.

Probably clogged up, restricting exhaust flow which decreases boost and raises EGT.
