I always drop some in the winter, but this year, what winter, up till two weeks ago, still a full 20mpg. all summer 21.8 to 22.2 with tst #8 kit.

not sure when the stations switched to the new fuel, but both tanks had it.
Your not alone in this. I too have lost MPG in the past 3 months ... more so than any other Fall-to-Winter time period.

I am down to between 16.75 - 17mpg ... and it has been a very warm winter here in New Hampshire. I was getting a constant 19.5 - 20mpg up till this past summer.

I change my fuel filter every 5000 miles, I have an in-cab fuel presure guage and it has been the reading the same pressure for the past 2 years.

This new fuel is definitely the culprit.

Have you checked your IAT sensor?

Not sure on your year truck, but mine had dropped off, removed and cleaned the IAT sensor, as the grid heaters were cycling at idle even when is was 60 outside. Had dropped from 18 to 19 normal driving to 16 to 17, and struggled to get close to 18 even all highway, where I would normally get near 20. I am back to near normal now. I also reset apps sensor voltage to match the voltage on the sensor label, Idle was eratic and rough.
I have been trying to maintain a mix of 1/2 tank ulsd and 1/2 tank b20 lsd (low sulpher diesel, not the other lsd ). truck REALLY likes it.

Good luck

Suddenly start running with your tailgate down or off? Mythbusters proved you get better milage with the tailgate up.
