loosing boost

loosing boost

hey all i have a question im losing boost 10 to 15 pounds some were. i have a stock 95 2500 and i dont know were to start how i found out i was at a free dyno runs were i live and i only had a 155 max at 4th gear and they sed i shuld of had a 227 stock and i dont know were to look and if eney one know s how mutch its going to cost me to fix it so if eney one has an idea let me know pleas thanks staken

ps and if eney one has a thread on an 95 oners manule if u culd send it to me that wuld be cool

I don't think your 155 is too out of line if the truck is truly stock. Maybe a fresh fuel filter would help.

As for the boost loss, what psi did you see before and have you changed anything? You may want to pressurize the system to check for leaks. A bottle of windex works good.

well its always been 15 to 16 but i did some cheking with some other firends and they sed a stock cummins shulde be pushen 20 to 25 pounds and it wopnt go over 16 even if i flore it and it wont le t me go over 21/2 grand on the tack so i don t know what to do bc i wont that full power im suposta have bc my one friend has a stock 95 and his has more of a set me in the back of the seat take of than my truck dose

That is about right for a stock truck. You can block the line from the turbo to the AFC, but then you still need more fuel to get more boost.
I just want to give you a little tip staken. When you make a post and you see a word with a red line under it, it is misspelled. Right click on the word with your mouse and the spell check will give you a variation of words to chose from. Then you can left click on word you want and will be replaced.
