Launching with TCC engaged?

Back when I was around 300hp I installed a mod on my Emjay tranny controller that would lock the TC if 1. the vehicle was doing at least 5mph, and 2. I had my foot at least 95% of the way to the floor.
It was worth a 1/2 second in the quarter. I went from 15.85 to 15.35. No problem with shafts until I got the twins, and more air into her (no change in fuel amount). Then I took out 2 input shafts. We all billet now.
