I've got a 91 D350 DRW I bought, the truck has 320k+ on the truck and about 65k on a Cummins reman engine.

Is the KDP issue something I need to worry about in the future, or is it a known enough issue that would have been taken care of on a factory reman'd engine?

I do not know when the new engine was put in...

 

The only way to tell if it has an updated case is to pull the cover, and if you are going that far, might as well tab it.

 

I bought my reman from mopar and it wasn't tabbed.

 

Bummer. I was hoping for the best, but kinda thought that's what the answer would be...

 

Tab it...you wont be sorry and you will lose less sleep once you KNOW it is secure
