I'm doing the KDP fix tomorrow and made a tab to fix the KDP. It is 1/16" thick. From what I'm reading that should be thin enough to just use the factory bolt won't it?? Also, I've got a 10 ft increment torque wrench and from what I've seen the recommended torque is 18-22 ft lbs so will torquing them to 20 ft lbs be fine??

 

You probably did it already, but if not, use Locktite RED on the bolt. 18 ft-lbs, 20 should be fine.
