KDP question

I am getting ready to tab my KDP and am going to loctite the 5 timing case bolts while I have it open. When I turn the engine with the barring tool, does it matter which direction I turn the engine? I know I will need to turn it some to get to the two bolts behind one of the center gear wheels.

Any help is always appreciated.

no, just turn the engine over so you can get your socket on the bolt through th windows in the gear.

Hell, I didn't even use a barring tool when I did mine.

I would turn the eng. over in the direction that it runs , with some time and miles on it , theres going to be some slack in grears & chain , so timing can be a little off .
If you want lock tight , then remember when you take apart next time to heat if you use the red .

Is there really a chain somewhere in the motor?
