KDP Damage

I was just wondering the type of truck that had problems with the KDP like auto 2wd, auto 4wd, 5spd 2wd or 5spd 4wd.

I agree its not the configuration of the truck its the engine that has the KDP problem

Maybe a poll with model year would be more interesting and witch generation 1st or 2nd dodge and a mileage bracket that the failure happened at

I would be interested in guys that did the tap trick to know if the pin had moved and what year engine it was

I'm just rambling its your poll so you can set it up any way you want too

I have a 95 and had Black Mountain Diesel do the drilling and inserting a cap machine bolt that stops the KDP from moving out of place. Cost 250,

I currently have two '99 gear cases here, both are wide open and need to be modified to stop it from coming out. One was just mounted on the new engine, 24v.

Also a tip for 12 valve owners, if you have any trouble with leakage from the front cover, the 24 valve cover fits and is much stronger built.

$50 is a great price, but if a guy can change his own oil he can do the jig fix with common tools and a $39 jig.
