Kdp ?

All this talk and such of plugging the KDP in to keep it from falling out... Has anybody just pulled the darned thing out?

Not the best for case alignment.........if it is open, why not just tab it?

You can't pull it out even if you want to unless it's very close to falling out on it's own.
It's a very tight fit and the pin is hardened steel, hard to get a good grip on.
Besides all that the pin is there to keep the case aligned and should be left in place.
Some of the tab kits now come with a new pin for the folks that open it up and find theirs has already fallen out.
If the pin is below flush with the case no need for a tab you can just peen over the edge of the hole with a punch.
