I figured I would start a thread on killer Dowel Pin issues. I know this has been posted many times before but hopefully it gives people the idea they need to fix their dowel pin problem even on a stock truck before it is too late. I was wondering if anyone has incite on the best way to go about changing a timing case and the time it takes to do so. I know the price of doing this is pretty costly and varries but is usually somewhere around 700 to 1000 dollars to fix if you have cracked the timing case. If anyone would like to post in on if they have ever had preblems and fixed them it would be appreciated and hopefully noticed by other 12 valve owners.
