just bought this 12v

Hey everyone just looking for a little knowledge from you all, i just picked up a 97 12v but its the off highway model (b5.9-c) wondering what you all know about this
from what i know/can tell the only differences are the intake and exhaust manifolds and the fuel pump

its a 160hp model



also I'm looking to put an alison trans behind it hopefully a AT545 by the pictures is that the correct bell housing ? haven't done much looking into it so hopefully someone here can save me some time

Saw one just like it in an old school bus. That looks like the right adapter, but you know the AT454 doesn't have over drive.

The AFC housing on the pump looks different than mine, maybe someone can chime in with more info.....

yeah just a 4 speed im looking for a cheap trans anf that seems to be the one everyone leans to for a cheap hd trans any idea if theres a cheap alison with od that arent hard to find ? its going into an old 1964 GMC tilt cab it got some tall tires on her and a 2 speed rear end so i wasnt to concerned about the od but a guy always would like to have it

don't be fooled by the two speed axle. I have a 59 Dodge semi tractor with an Eaton two speed and it's High speed is 6.19 to 1., Low is 9 something. At 60 mph the "gas" engine is at least 3000 rpm.You won't want to run a Cummins that fast, continuously. Check the gear ratio.
