inline pump and waste gate

i have a 96 2500 i have read that plugging the waste gate on a stock pump should not blow a head gasket but what if i were to use the stock fuel plate and just slide it a bit could this cause problems my pump is a 180 hp pump as well also does any one have and good pictures on pulling the pump apart to move the fuel plate

Both of those should be fine if you have gauges.. There isn't enough fuel there to get into trouble.

Head gaskets are issues with advanced timing and boost over 50 psi. You will be far from that..

but heed Lil Dog's advice on gauges and be aware that even with the "free" hp mods you can trash your auto tranny or clutch.
