injection lines, gaskets / tools needed?
Im upgrading the injectors on my truck soon and wanted to know wheres a good place to get the delivery valve holder socket and any replacement o-rings Ill need for the delivery valves when I pull the tops off to remove the injector lines. Id like to pull them off so they dont get bent during install.. plus they need painting real bad anyways.

You can get them from Snap-On, Cummins, and I'm sure other places. Find an fuel injection shop near you, they will have them. You should be able to just put your DV holders back on without chaning the o-rings, unless you have a leak now. Just keep them clean.

On my 97, I did not need to remove the delivery valves when changing out the injectors. Just simple hand tools. Get yourself a piece of 3/4 pipe and one of your lug nuts for easy injector removal. I used a 3/4 inch copper pipe sweat coupler for pulling mine.
Remove the injector line, remove the nut on the injector, then slip the copper coupler over the injector, tighten the lug nut on the injector (where the injection line nut was) and it will pop right out.
Infidel came up with that one (I think) so do a search for better details. KD
