I got problems...

The truck I just bought has a

leaking transfercase
tranny is on its way out
rear and front diff leaks
Coolent is "slick" and beads on the finger (clear so not oil or atf right??)
Timing cover/ crank seal & oil pan leaks

What to get done first and I am strapped for cash right now... any easy fixes or things I can do to help it. I already ordered a aux tranny cooler (Derale 15950) and my liquid temps wont ever get to the middle, it stays at or around 1/4 of the gauge. to get my tranny rebuilt everyone around here is quoting me 3-4 grand... What if I fould a 96 tranny, would it work?... PLEASE HELP!!!

I would start by tabbing the kdp and you will end up fixing the leaks on the timing cover and crank seal while you are at it. This is only a $40 or so fix with the tst kit.

When you say that your transfer case is leaking, where is it leaking?

I am guessing that the differentials are leaking at the seals which isn't hard to fix at all with permatex but diff fluid will run you at least $50. Be careful not to let the fluid in these get too low from leaking or you will have other more expensive problems to fix.

I don't know what to say about your coolant. It is not particularly hard to flush out the cooling system and not expensive so that is probably worth doing.

The tranny may end up being expensive but someone else probably can give you a better idea(I know manuals much better).

I had the fluid flushed and and they think it was just addative to keep leaks from springing up... WHEW!!

Transfer case is leaking at the front and rear seals and also the pto cover...

Good thinking on the KDP I always forget after I spend this much money on something that it should be set for the future.

I tryed some oil addative and it helped the motor run smoother...

The tranny failed the pan drop... shavings everywhere... CRAP!!!! $2800 for a tranny with BD converter, new clutch packs, high friction plates and full synthetic fluids

I second the Kdp hopefully if you replace both seals it shoud quit leaking
As far as the tranny goes I would atleat get some kind of aftermarket torque converter and valvebody. Also you have a 47-rh (94-95) a 96 truck would have a 47re trans.
