How to Lower Idle

I got a 97 180hp 12valve that idles around 950 to 1000 rpm. So where on the pump do i lower the idle. If anyone has any diagrams please post them.

beware lowering the idle any lower than it should be, i think its 700 rpm i n drive, youll have to hit the go pedal to start to keep it from cranking 10 times first.

Yeah, auto + A/C requires a higher idle.

Don't trust the cluster tach.
