How to Adjust Idle
How do you adjust the idle on a 1998?
I adjuste the linkage rod which has bolt on the firewall end with 4 or 5 holes. I removed the bolt and tried another hole but it did not make any difference.

It's very important that the rod you adjusted is put back where it was or you won't have a full range of throttle.
