Hard starting after stall
A couple of weeks ago I was backing the 5er into the driveway through a bit of a dip and the engine stalled. I pushed in the clutch and restarted it with my foot on the throttle a bit and now ever since then it is hard to start unless I give it a bit of throttle then it fires right up.
Any ideas on what the problem could be? It is a 1998 3500 dodge with stock 5.9 12v.
Thanks for any and all answers.

You may want to bump it up about 100 RPM to about 850. This will make starting easier also. If you will do a search here you can find the instructions and a diagram of where this adjustmet is located. The adjustment is a bolt on the rear of the injection pump that acts as a throttle stop. It is a 10mm bolt and has a lock nut on the bottom of it. Hard to see without a mirror. Loosen the lock nut, then back out the bolt about 1/8 turn (doesn't take much), relock the lock nut and you should be good to go. Over time, the head of this bolt gets worn by the throttle linkage due to vibration resulting in lower RPM's.
