Grid Heaters

I live in Texas so it doesn't get very cold here. However, this week it dipped down into the 20's (where it is now). When I crank it first thing in the morning the wait to start light stays on for about 15 sec which is normal and I hear the relay kick off. But after it starts the heaters don't cycle and the voltage doesn't drop. But last year at this time it wasn't even this cold and they would cycle right after it started. And then after I run it for about an hour and let it sit for 2, I don't hear the relay and the wait to start light goes off with the other lights after 5 sec. Does anyone know where the relay is? I thought the cruise control servo was under the driver side battery. Does anyone know what's goin on? Thanks

Eric

It depends on how cold your engine is how long, if at all, the grids stay on or cycle after starting. Doubt if anything is wrong with yours.
Follow the large wires running to the grids on the intake back to relays almost under the driver's side battery.
