i have completly swapped my 1500 cab over on to my 2500 frame we switched the dashes and everything works, it turns over but it will not start because it aint gettin any fuel, does any one know if their is a reset on the fuel pump or any thing else that could be wrong

 

What year truck are we talking about here?

Theres no reset on the pumps, they are all mechanical. You might not be getting power to the shutoff solenoid. Pull the solenoid off and see if it fires up. Push the lever down to kill the engine when it fires up.

 

Yep, wire the solenoid up and see if she starts. If she does, then wiring to it is the issue, if not push the primer on the LP until you hear it sing, or make a hissing sound up by the Injection pump and then try starting.

if you have a hard time getting a prime by pumping the primer than just spay some starting fluid in her to get it started and that should quicken the process. if you cant get it going after the 3rd or 4th try with starting fluid than you arent getting fuel. that is if your shut off solenoid is off and set right.

 

DONT spray Ether.......... I have run them with brake cleaner, WD40, etc.
Hitting it with Ether should be considered abuse......
