Fuel problemsolution
Truck: 94 12v 2wd w/ Banks Stinger Plus kit
A couple of weeks ago I posted a problem and I didn't get any response. But after doing some research on this site and talking to a few mechanics, I now have a place to start.
I am going to replace the overflow valve and replace worn fuel lines. As I was going to post this question, I saw the article on the Wildcat Diesel Maximum Fuel Upgrade System and was wondering if I should just go with this solution instead of replacing my fuel line parts with stock stuff.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re:Fuel problemsolution
Could you mention the problem again? Not sure about the Wildcat upgrade, need to look at the website to see what it is. I will have to say, if your fuel lines are older, and if they leak, they can affect how your truck will run. They do not have to "drip" fuel in order to be leaking. Just enogh to suck air.
Fuel system problems can be hard to diagnose, but things like a pressure gauge will help. Also check filter, pre-filter (screen) and as you mentioned, overflow valve. Also vacume leaks can cause running/performance problems. Good luck with it. Kevin

Re:Fuel problemsolution
I would try to locate the problem before trying any modifications. It will be tough to get "the mods" to work properly if you start out with a poor running truck in the first place. The fuel lines are a little tough to get at but can be done with patience. Make sure you get the correct type rated for diesel. o a search on "no power" or "low power", "fuel lines" etc. You will get alot of info on things to check, replace, or repair. Good luck, Kevin
Re:Fuel problemsolution
Actually I talked to Rod at Wild Cat he said not to waste my time and money on the upgrade. He said that the stock fuel lines will support up to 700 horsepower on the 1994 12v.
I am still going to replace the overflow valve and only replace the rubber fuel lines.
Thanks for the help.
